FAQ
What is your vision for the student ministry?
Our vision at Christ’s Church is to prepare students to discover completeness in Jesus. We want to do that by partnering with parents to disciple students.
Who volunteers in the student ministry?
We think we have the best student ministry leaders, who help our students see that they are known, valued and loved! We typically have a 1:4 ratio with students, and we have leaders from several generations. As with our Early Childhood and Children’s Ministry departments, we require all leaders to fill out an application and pass a background check.
What does your weekly programming look like?
Sunday mornings | 9:15am
It is our desire that students embrace the Gospel through studying the Scriptures, in hopes that they will get to know Jesus more. 5•8 Grade students meet together for large group teaching and small group discussions every week!
It’s our desire that 9•12 grade students become integrated in the church; they are not the church of tomorrow but the church of today. On Sunday mornings our focus is on: Worship, Service and Study. Contact Adam Everett for details.
Wednesday nights | 6:30pm
We have an engaging worship service geared specifically for 9•12 students to connect with God, friends, and amazing adult leaders that are pointing them to Christ! They will participate in large group games, worship through song, learn from dynamic teachers and build relationships through Connection Group discussions.
5•8 grade meets until 8:00pm in Student Ministry Center East
9•12 grade meets until 8:15pm in Student Ministry Center North
Discipleship Groups
Our vision at Christ’s Church is to prepare students to discover completeness in Jesus. One of the ways we do that is through connecting students with leaders that are consistently pointing them to Christ. D-Groups meet on a weekly basis to further their relationship with one another, engaging with the Scriptures and have a ton of fun together!
Each group is based off of gender and grade. All groups meet in family homes. Locations & times will vary.
5•6 grade meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month
7•12 grade meets weekly, usually on Sundays
