As a ministry, we have an obligation to care for one another and love and serve our community. In light of those values and the evolving nature of our national emergency, we are going to honor the CDC’s recommendation of suspending all public gatherings for the next few weeks. This is the immediate suspension of all public programming, including such activities but not limited to Tuesdays and Wednesday nights, Thursday/Sunday worship services. This suspension of these events is for an indeterminate period of time.
These changes are challenging but bring with them some significant opportunities to deepen our community and relationships. The purpose of the church is always to grow in our relationship to Jesus and with one another. Although the ways of doing this may be different, the goals can still be accomplished.
In the coming days, we will be communicating ways and means of staying connected to our faith community during this next season. These opportunities will include a weekly interactive worship experience led by the Christ’s Church team and will be accessible through the Christ’s Church website and app. Our ministry staff is working on additional resources for individuals, families, and groups to access to share in the continuing ministry of the word, fellowship and encouragement.
Let’s continue to care for one another, stay connected in the safest ways and pray that God will be known and His power will be displayed in all we do and say.
Here’s what we ask of YOU:
- If you or any of your family have been exposed to a person with the Coronavirus or the flu or have recently experienced symptoms associated with the flu or the common cold… PLEASE take all precautions including staying home for the recommended time and take care of your health.
- Our Worship Celebration is available on cco.church/live. These are great ways for you to stay connected.
- Pray! Pray for our government officials, our friends and neighbors, and our foreign missionaries. And don’t forget, the Lord is in control.
- Continue to financially support Christ’s Church. You can give online, through the app, or by mail to 22145 Kafir Rd, Oronogo, MO 64855.
