Counseling Center
Christ’s Church Counseling
Dedicated to Biblically based, professional, and affordable counseling from a Christian perspective.
Jesus Christ – and His revelation in the Old and New Testament of the Bible, as the inspired Word of God – is the preeminent model for the Counseling Center’s practice, ethics, caregiving activities and the final authority for all matters about which it speaks. Christ’s Church counseling offers help with a wide variety of personal and family issues such as substance abuse, marital conflicts, divorce/blended family issues, grief, loss and separation issues, behavioral problems, addictive behavior, childhood abuse, family conflicts, depression, and issues of spirituality or identity.
In addition to individual counseling, during the school year we offer classes, support groups and Bible studies at various times in order to give opportunities for learning and for applying the truths of the Bible. These classes cover a range of topics including grief, pre-marital classes, healing from divorce, recovery from addictions, parenting, marriage and family classes. Whether a Bible study, a class about spiritual disciplines, or a support group for finding freedom from pain and suffering, there is always a chance for connection and growth.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Johnson University. Before joining Christ’s Church staff in 2018 as Director of Counseling, Dennis served churches in Indiana, Tennessee, and Missouri. Dennis brings a compassionate and biblical approach to therapy. He believes in the power of the Gospel to bring lasting life change and views counseling as a space where God works to restore emotional, relational, and spiritual health. He seeks to offer both grace and truth—believing that Christ embodied both and that His followers are called to do the same.

Living in a broken world among broken people, Kim understands that at times we all need someone to help us find clarity and healing.
