Early Childhood

In Early Childhood, our desire is that your children would know that God made them, he loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We provide a safe, loving environment for your babies through pre-schoolers and we want to partner with you in raising your little one to know Jesus.

What You Can Expect

Loving teachers and assistants provide learning experiences and care for your child while you are enjoying your church activities. We have age-appropriate programming during all Sunday morning and Thursday night gatherings. Come check us out!

Christ’s Church meets regularly on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Early Childhood classrooms open at 5:50pm. We have lots of fun with Bible lessons & activities that reinforce what we’re learning!

Mom’s Connection is designed for moms with children of all ages for a time of fellowship, refreshments, and discussion. Moms meet on Tuesday mornings during the school year from 9:00-10:30am and we care for the children while the moms gather.

For more information on Mom’s Connection, contact Lindsey Wall.

Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age-appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths:

God Made Me | God Loves Me
Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

Child Check-In

First Time Visitors

When you come to Christ’s Church of Oronogo, you can expect to encounter knowledgeable, welcoming people to direct you to our “Quick Check – First Time Visitor Check-in station.” There you will fill out a Registration Form & receive name badges with an ID code for your child. You will also receive a parent badge with the same ID code. You will be required to show this badge when you pick up your child. This ensures that all children leave only with the right people. This same ID code will be displayed in our sanctuary during worship services if your child needs you during the service.

After you have gone through the check-in process, you will be directed to the age-appropriate classroom or area in the Kid’s Worship room for your child. There, our trained, loving volunteers will greet your child and assist with any separation anxiety. It is important to remember that children handle this in different ways. Some children are eager to see what new experiences are all about; others are not so eager to leave the comfort of family. Please rest assured that our teachers want your child to participate, even if they are struggling. We commit that we will contact you if your child needs you.

Our trained volunteers will do their best to answer any questions you have. We want you to feel very comfortable leaving your child with us, so that you can enjoy our worship gathering and classes to the fullest.

Care Card

If you have a little one in our Love Bugs or Wiggle Worms & you prefer not to fill out our Care Cards each time you come just print it out and bring with you!
