Early Childhood
In Early Childhood, our desire is that your children would know that God made them, he loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We provide a safe, loving environment for your babies through pre-schoolers and we want to partner with you in raising your little one to know Jesus.
What You Can Expect
Loving teachers and assistants provide learning experiences and care for your child while you are enjoying your church activities. We have age-appropriate programming during all Sunday morning and Thursday night gatherings. Come check us out!
Christ’s Church meets regularly on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Early Childhood classrooms open at 5:50pm. We have lots of fun with Bible lessons & activities that reinforce what we’re learning!
Mom’s Connection is designed for moms with children of all ages for a time of fellowship, refreshments, and discussion. Moms meet on Tuesday mornings during the school year from 9:00-10:30am and we care for the children while the moms gather.

Curriculum
Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age-appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths:
God Made Me | God Loves Me
Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever
Child Check-In
First Time Visitors
When visiting Christ’s Church of Oronogo, you’ll find helpful hosts directing you to our “Quick Check – First Time Visitor Check-in station.” There, you’ll fill out a Registration Form and receive name badges with an ID code for your child and a matching parent badge. This badge must be shown when picking up your child to ensure they only leave with authorized individuals. The same ID code will be displayed on screen during our main worship gathering if your child needs you.
Once checked in, you’ll be directed to your child’s age-appropriate classroom where our caring hosts will warmly welcome your child and help with any separation anxiety. Children react differently to new experiences—some eagerly embrace them, while others may be more hesitant to leave family. Rest assured, our teachers encourage participation and will contact you if needed.
Our trained hosts are available to address any questions you have. We aim to make you feel completely comfortable leaving your child with us, allowing you to fully enjoy our worship gatherings and classes.
Care Card
If you have a little one in our Love Bugs or Wiggle Worms and you prefer not to fill out our Care Cards each time you come, just print them out and bring them with you!
Parent Resources
We offer a range of children’s books and helpful resources available at the Pathways Center near the cafe. Below, you’ll also find some additional selections we believe you and your children will enjoy, designed to support you in nurturing your child’s love for Jesus.
Children’s Ministry
If you have children in Kindergarten through 4th grade, we have specific programming for them in Kid’s Klub every Thursday night and Sunday morning. During the school year, we have Wednesday night programming where your kids can dive deeper into God’s Word!
