Central India Christian Mission (CICM) is an indigenously led ministry strategically serving South Asia. Since its founding in 1982, the poor and destitute have been fed, clothed, and given medical care. Churches have been planted, leaders have been mentored, disciples taught, and communities transformed by the Gospel lived out by thousands of selfless Christ-followers.

The vision of CICM is to bring the light of the Gospel to spiritually dark places in South Asia until all have heard and, hopefully, experienced the transformative power of the Gospel. For over 40 years, those who serve under the ministry umbrella of CICM have courageously lived for Jesus Christ and served to offer hope to both individuals and entire communities through His love.

CICM is, first and foremost, a Great Commission organization, raising up church leaders as the ministry’s primary means of launching Gospel initiatives into communities throughout South Asia. These leaders become catalysts of hope as they plant churches that foster transformation within their communities. Last year alone, the ministry saw over 500 churches planted and just under 90,000 decisions for Christ.

Through the ministry’s educational arm, Calvary International Biblical Academy, CICM trains indigenous leaders to reach the unreached for Christ. These national leaders are essential to launching churches and growing congregations that minister to the spiritual and physical needs of their communities. The training of such leaders, serving within the context of their native languages, allows the ministry of CICM to be incredibly effective in a region of our world with a minimum of 650 unique language groups.

In addition, CICM operates six children’s homes throughout India. These homes provide both residential care and academic support to some of India’s most vulnerable and at-risk children. At these children’s homes, children receive spiritual, physical, educational, and emotional support so they can find hope for a brighter future. In the primary language of India, the word “Orphan” means “godless child.” However, there are no godless children here at CICM. In fact, in a concerted effort to change the future of India’s youth, CICM sponsors several annual youth events throughout India with the purpose of sharing the Gospel and calling these young men and women to commit their lives to effective Kingdom work.

However, children and youth are not the only at-risk segments of the Indian population. CICM is committed to the meet basic and essential needs of some of the most vulnerable populations of South Asia, like lepers, widows, elderly, refugees, and the persecuted.  In addition to feeding programs, a key element of this support comes through the CICM Mission Hospital and its medical ministry, which includes mobile clinics and dental care. All throughout India, the lack of social services and access to healthcare has left entire populations vulnerable to personal and communal devastation. In these ways, CICM can bear witness to the love of Christ and earn an opportunity to share the Gospel message.

Your partnership with CICM is literally saving the lives of tens of thousands. Thank you for your faithfulness!

India is located within the 10/40 window that is home to the majority of the world’s unreached people groups. CICM has a team of dedicated church planters who regularly start new ministries in these unreached regions. Additionally, CICM has 3 Bible colleges, 5 children’s homes, a nursing school, mission hospital and other ministries that equip and raise up church planters.
